Strategies to Assist Students in Grades 7-12 with Organization, Attention and Behavior
Description
Students who do not come to class prepared to learn, create challenges not only for themselves, but for their teachers as well. For students with Attention Deficit Disorders (ADD or ADHD), learning disabilities, or those who just have hectic, busy lives, organization is challenging. Keeping on top of the daily schedule, homework, and other responsibilities can be stressful and rarely successful! Participants in this workshop will share experiences with colleagues and explore proactive, effective strategies to keep students on track, enhance their engagement in the process, and facilitate successful experiences.
